I have nothing to talk about... believe it or not. But here goes a page!
A page inspired in something not related to scrapbooking
A inspiração foi o quadro "In Motion" de Patrick St. James: My inspiration came from the painting "In Motion" by Patrick St. James
Page using materials in a innovative manner - (I used tacks as brads, stickers from a clothing store and a transparent plastic with flowers over silk paper painted in gold)
5) Mini álbum em formato inovador Innovative shape for a mini-album
Percebam como o ar de cansaço é óbvio, não obstante, demonstro uma satisfação plena, próxima ao êxtase!rs And, finally, a picture taken at the end of the scraptour day on "25 de Março" street. Notice how exhaustion is obvious, nonetheless, I am also displaying full satisfations, near extasy!lol
That's right girls, the Deck of Me has earned me international comments! WOW!!! I can hardly believe it! I am touched just by thinking that someone across the ocean may be looking at my work (can you all hear the violins on the background?).
Well, manu people have asked me about the Deck of me boxes... no mistery there. I made the very basic boxes with Hoerller Cardboard (ok... so it was Paraná cardboard, but the grey type that people say is actually hoerller, hence I say it is hoerller because it is far classier and I will not be hung for being a heretic user of materials filled with acid!lol)
I glued the pieces onto Color-plus paper (oops, did I say Color Plus??? I meant acid-free high grade paper!hahahaha), then did some basic binding without placing the internal cover paper. I painted it with Daiara Acrylic paints (that is right, hurray to national products! With only R$2,00 I get beautiful colors and an opaque paint of great quality!). I made the cuts for the ribbons. Then I glued the internal cover paper (that was actually acid-free!!!lol) and voilá!
The pattern is the one right up there, for whoever feels like copying it!
